we are having a problem in the school where our daughter goes,we have basis to belive the teacher is treating our girl in a discriminatory, bully, harrasing way.
we are european, and our girl attend a local chinese school, where she is the only westener looking pupil.
I would like to speak to a lawyer to see if the basis we have are ok to press some kind of charges to the teacher
Any personal experience on this?
thanks in advance
Have you tried talking to the school principal first? That might be a better option, and then talk to a lawyer if things don't improve. A difficult issue here would be what 'evidence' you have. Of course you believe your daughter, but her word won't be enough if you consider any sort of legal action.
I already speak with the principal, but since then I notice that the attitude of the teacher generally get worse in sense that now she is tying to avoid comunication and eye contact both with me and my doughter,
by the wy what is the EMB?
thanks
May be it's time to pull your child out of that school. Not sure if all these not making eye contact and avoiding communication are going to do your little girl any good. Try calling the Equal Opportunities Commission and see if they will take up the case. You need to put some concrete evidence before them I guess. Hope things work out.
