separating from partner/not married but children

I'm separating from my partner of 8 years. We are not married but have 2 children together. Does anybody know the legal implications regarding visiting rights, child support etc. I'm the female part of the relationship. what if we do not come to a mutual agreement when separating? This only involves the children no other financial obligations.

8 years was a long time, not sure if the law allows you to go back to that long. But if he is the father of the kids, he has an obligations to support the children. There is no harm to find a lawyer to discuss about it.
