If I want to change my name. What should I do?

If you are a permanent resident of Hong Kong, I guess you would start the process with the HK government.

However, if you are non PR then you should contact the nearest consulate of your home country or look at your government's web pages to see what the process involves. It usually involves submitting an application, supporting documents, and a fee.

It is quite straight forward...you execute a Deed Poll to be registered in HK; the cost to prepare and file it will be HK$1,500.
