Legal Consultant Pay Scales

I have a friend being offered a legal consultant position in HK. Does anyone have any information as to starting pay scales in HK for a legal consultant with only a few years experience.

starting will be about 250k per year

Would this be typically the whole package? Or, would there be additional benefits, housing, travel, etc?

She is a registered lawyer in Italy, but I suppose that she still can't be a solicitor in HK? If she could be would starting pay be higher?

She would be considered as Junior in any case and such position not comes with Housing allowance, travel etc. She may get a 13 month and the usual MPF contribution and on top at least 12 working hours per day.

Is she going to join a company as In House Legal Counsel? With a couple of years of experience, she will probably be paid between HK$25K to HK$40K per month. There are the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Tests that overseas lawyers can study for and write - then she can get qualifed as a Hong Kong solicitor. However, being in-house counsel - usually means she will not be paid as much as her counterparts in private practice.
