I had just given birth 3 months ago. Now that I have lost most of my pregnancy fats, I noticed this bulge, feels like a misplaced bone, at the back of my neck (the bottom bit between my shoulder blades). It didn't feel uncomfy at first, even thought it was just a muscle. But now it's starting to really bug me because aside from it being so unsightly, it's actually starting to feel a bit bruised and kind of gives a weird sensation on me back. And it seems like my head has gone forward...and of course, with the new baby, it's getting even worse...Is this going to be permanent? Which kind of doctor should I go to? A friend told me to go to a chiropractor...do you guys have any recommendations? I don't know anybody who is in this practise..
Try Angel Tse she is a specialist i posture alignment etc. I think she charges $600 for first visit but she spends time withyou and is very good at body balancing/ alignment etc. Her contact is 2890 9348. ask for her because I don't think anyone else speaks english.she is in wanchai.
the worst people to deal with backs and necks are western medical doctors. The standard approach is NSAID and rest, and that is just wrong. A good chiropracter will assess properly. But yes, do get clinical correlation - start with a doctor who works with chiropracters.
You might want to try Henry Donald an Osteopath at The Vitality Centre, which I go to. The tel: no. is 2537 1118 and he is based at Suite 801, Commercial House, 85 Queens Road, Central.
