My cousin is 36 and "could" be pregnant. She has had a lighter than usual period but a negative pregnany test. Are HCG levels slower to show up in older mums, or does it make no difference to an early test?
Thanks!
Some people even during pregnancy don't have positive urine test. If she thinks she is pregnant and have negative test, the best option is to have a blood HCG to check the level.
HCG levels are not slower to show in older mums. When you are pregnant the urine pregnancy tests should show an immediate postive result - mine showed positive within seconds.... Good luck!
