Have you tried to negotiate on the fee? Yes, I found out some dentists and physicians in HK are willing to negotiate on fees, especially on procedures that are not covered by insurance. All you have to do is to say: That's a bit over my budget, would you consider doing this for XXXX dollars? and then hold your breath. You'll be pleasantly surprised. It is more expensive in HK but you don't need to buy a plane ticket and you don't need to spend 1 to 2 days to go there.
