We have 1994 Mercedes 500SL convertible which has old style 2-point seat belts, can't find a baby car seat in HK. If you have any advice as to where to find one, please respond! Thanks and regards, Garry.
Bumps to Babes in Horizon Plaza tends to be the mother lode for this kind of thing. In any case plenty of Britax and Graco seats support 2 point belts.
Just a note: Isn't the SL a 2-seater? That would mean mounting the seat in the front passenger seat no? Does the car have a passenger side airbag? If it does and the airbag cannot be disconnected, putting a carseat in that position is a big no-no. A deploying airbag can kill a child.
"The car is a 4-seater so the baby seat will be in the rear. SLK are 2-seaters."
I knew about the SLK. THought SL was also 2 seater. Shows what I know. Is it one of those tiny rear seats? If so, you might have a hard time fitting a car seat. We managed in our SAAB 9-3 Convertible, but it had a 2 adult sized seats in the back-
