Summer programs 2008

I plan to enroll my kids ( 8 and 10 yrs of age ) in HK summer programs. Any recommendations? Does anyone have experience with a good Drama School? What about other worthy summer programs.

The ESF have good summer camps. Go to the ESF educational services website. They have English and sports camps at various locations.

Faust does summer programmes in drama and creative writing. Should have leaflets available in the Arts centres etc. Also the other day I picked up a flyer from schooladvertising High School Musical, the stage show, can't find it now. But basically advertising a 3 week drama course in July ending in 4 performances of the show in a theatre. I picked it up from CWBS so maybe try an ESF school near you.

cd, have your children tried any of the programs at Faust in the past? What is it like? Anyone?
My kids can definitely take up some creative writing courses as well.

My daughter has done Faust for the past two years, although during the school year. She started when she was six and besides really enjoying it, it has helped her with confidence. She freely (sometimes too freely) expresses herself now. She has been on a few acting auditions and felt quite comfortable and also got one of the roles she had auditioned for.

My daughter used to be a student leader with Faust, they do put on some great shows. But unfortunately its always been way out of our price range to actually send the kids to.
