Anyone encountering the same? I'm on day 10 after embryo transfer and I think I've been quite stressed over this IVF. I'm feeling a minor cramping at times and have minor transparent discharge (like egg white - no odour). Just so afraid that I will be getting my period!!! Anybody had similar situation but pregnant? I'm so worried!
I haven't had IVF but I do remember the waiting game until period is due. When I eventually got pregnant after a round of hormone injections I was convinced I wasn't pregnant- I had the same as you, whitish discharge, cramps and even a period! I can only advise you to try and take your mind off it and keep yourself busy over the next few days - days out, movies, go round to friends for decaf lattes etc. Even if you get your period pls still test as I had my period and it turned out to be low progesterone and I had to have supplements or I would have lost my baby.
TRY, best of luck. I am rooting for you. It took me 3 years to concieve and my beautiful boy is now nearly 2 years old. Sometimes just when you think there's no hope, the sun comes out and shines down on you very brightly.
many thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I am having my period as of today - I had major cramps while I was at work today and had noticed brownish discharge (the ones you get when you're about to get your period). I am really disappointed but none the less, it's the 1st IVF cycle and I did prepare myself for the worst. My husband was very supportive and said we can always try next time..........
Mrs. Miggins - I'm still gonna try for a hpt just to make sure...........
Ok. Not sure if this will help but here it goes. My wife had 7 miscarriages. Not 1 doctor could say why in HK. We were going to go to new York for a diffrent opinion and I saw on Asia Expat a fertility doctor that was the best bet. We went to him and he said we should try IVF. We did and now have a 2 year old daughter!!! We then tried again with frozen eggs about a year later and it didn't work. We were told later that there is only a 20% chance of it working with frozen eggs. We were told this a year later!!! We are now trying IVF again and my wife has just had her egg retreival and we are waiting to see how many are fertilized. The thing I am trying to say is keep tring and hopefully it will end up working out. Good luck...
