Sudden Cramping

I am now on my 12th week and every few days or so, i feel sudden cramps when i stand up...is this something i need to worry about or is this somewhat normal?

My midwife has told me that i may feel some pain int he abdomen since it is starting to grow...don't know what is normal though....

According to my experience this is normal unless spoting comes along. Your baby is growing so need more room to move around. I was a little concerned to my gyno told me the same as your midwife. Anyway, my friend who is now 9 weeks pregnant is asking me the same question so your are not alone.

Hi, I am 20 weeks pregnant now, but also had some cramping at 3 months. It usually just means that you are very aware of what is happening in your body and it probably is your abdomen growing. As long as there is no bleeding and the cramping isn't continuous and strong you shouldn't be too worried.
