Filling
whatever you fancy, salmon and broccoli, bacon, mushrooms, then add 1C milk combined with 2 large eggs whisk in some dijon mustard if you have it (will enhance the cheese), grate 1C of cheddar, place your ingrediants in the party case and then pour over milk/egg mixture, sprinkle cheese evenly. I recommend that you bake this on a tray as sometimes it can boil over. Cook for 45 mins, check and if still wobbly cook some more.
If you need it to be gluten free, you can use grated onion and grated potato, brush with oil and bake. When cooked, then add the filling ingredients and bake again.
If you are in a hurry - using filo pastry - a couple of layers gives a good thin and crispy crust. Good for if you are making lots of small quiches in muffin trays for party nibbles.
