Try putting the greens and the "salad" itself in a ziploc bag with a paper towel in it to absorb the excess water and moisture.
Put the dressing that you like in a leak proof bowl (like those disposable ziploc containers.)
Then - when it's lunchtime, you just put the salad into the dressing (sounds backwards, but at least the bowl and the dressing is already there) and mix it.
Alternatively you can "dip" your pieces of lettuce into the dressing.
Did you try Sogo? I remember them having the OXO brand salad spinner a while back. Otherwise try that cook store in Prince's Building - the panhandler I think it is called? The other method to drying your greens, which my mom uses all the time is this overnight method, and the greens are SOOO crisp.
Basically you wash, rinse, and drain your salad greens. Then you place a a dry paper towel in a big ziploc bag and lay the greens on top of it. Then lay another paper towel on the top and then stick it in the fridge. The next morning, the greens are crisp, fresh and really good. In a crunch though, salad spinners are great!
