Laptop display in TV

Hi , I have a acer laptopTM-2742 which does not have s-cable port , I wish to connect the laptop to my TV set which has vedio input as well as S-cable port . can some one help on this ?

I bought a kit for my laptop at the computer center in Wanchi for this very purpose, it cost $180HKD. Works very good

Scorpiomale28 > just go ask for S-cable connecter...it comes with convertor for the connection....

I bought one myself lately but seems i need to close my laptop lid before the image goes to TV...can someone tell me why is that so??

i have had that happen too but between a projector and laptop. not sure why. we tried holding Fn key and pressing F8, it worked. may be you could try that.

i already did. It says i have no presentation monitor and yet when i close the laptop lid, the image will go to my TV screen. The min I open my lid the TV image disappears.
