Soundmax device driver for HP compaq

having a very hard time to finding a right driver for my soundmax device, its an kind of "onboard"sound system and not a sound card. its part of the HP Compaq dx2000 MT

when i do a search i get 77.000 results............obviously all are different, ive tried installing 3 different ones until now only toi get a error message when its almost done, saying its laptop software and not desktop.

any one in the kn0ow here?

Oh sorry, try downloading the whole driver for the chipset. This maybe the problem
