Cam to install in the house

Hi all, I'm just looking for a discussion and a solution here.

What is the setup to install an web cam so that I can check on my maid remotely?

How are you guys doing it?

if you have broadband you can buy a webcam and leave it plugged into your PC...cheapest and easiest...you may need someone to set this up for you. CSL also have a service for linking your 3G phone to your PC based webcam if you need more flexibility. Need to consider one webcam can only cover so much of one room (the one is plugged into) so if you want any more you will need multiple cameras. You could then view them by visiting a web page..

actually all you need is broadband service and IP camera which won't cost much..

FYI, u need to let your maid know that u are installing the cam. Otherwise it wld be invasion of privacy.

Getting lots of web cams together on a broadband line sounds the best. What software do I need to make this work? Obviously I would need web cams and lots of wiring.
