iPod format to mp3

I am considering buying my daughter an MP3 player for her birthday, but at present all our music is stored in iTunes and we play it on an existing iPod.

Can anyone please advise what sort of conversion process I need to undertake to ensure the iTunes format music can be transferred and played on the MP3 player?

iTunes plays mp3 u just need to save all ur mp3 files in to mps player that is all!!!
if u don't know where is ur mp3 files then just make a search in ur computer *.mp3 and ur computer will show all ur mp3 files :)
