Convert video tapes to DVD/digital

I have some old video tapes which I want to convert to digital media/VCD/DVD before they deteriorate too much or get mouldy in this weather. Does anyone know which shops can do this for me? Thanks

I am at a total loss as to **WHY** my NON-contentious & informative answer has been wiped out here.

It neither proclaimed the greatness of any company - nor did it slag off and company's work.

In fact, **NO** company - or organisation - was even made mention of.


It is AX reaction such as this that continue to make me very wary of posting ANY useful information.

Well, it was ZAPPED for no good reason. It was non-contentious, non-derogatory, named neither companies nor organisations, and offered ONLY advice that nobody in their right minds could take the slightest exception to.

And, I'm sorry to say, this is NOT the first time that I've apparently lost my non-contentious, non-derogatory responses here when I have attempted to help users out of their technical difficulties.

I don't expect to have to 'save' every answer in case it is vaporised - just to later show it again for confirmation that it insulted nobody in any possible way.

Suggest you have a look at the rules - if what was submitted is not in violation then please resubmit the comment. I will review it and if I feel it must be removed I will post the reason after I remove it
