Gmail problems

My IBM Thinkpad locks up on me when I try to open my gmail account emails, it works for opening the first one or two emails then after reading them clicking on others nothing happens, it can only be closed down and this only happens on gmail not my office account or yahoo. What's up anybody know?

You might have a virus on your computer. Gmail recently changed their email format and it could cause issues with some types of viruses. I would do a complete scan for viruses and spyware.
