Visiting Beijing at Easter

Can anyone pls let me know what Beijing is like currently to visit as a Tourist - Given the upcoming Olympics is everything of note under a scaffold or boarded up being cleaned? - or is there still a lot to see, especially Forbidden City, Tianamen Square etc -

Temple of Heaven, Tianamen, Bell Tower, Summer Palace, Zoo, Panjiayuan market, Liulichang Culture/Antique street are open. Forbidden city has plenty of halls and only some are under massive restoration which will take until 2020.

Well there's definitely a lot to see in Beijing, but it's freezing cold in there now and you might want to postpone your plan to mid-Spring onwards.
